大火燒毀容貌…鋼鐵女孩僅剩右手：盼成為別人的祝福
一場大火幾乎燒光了她的一切，包含容貌和三隻手腳...今年25的莊雅菁，頂著一張有明顯燒傷痕跡的臉龐，裝上義肢，揮著僅剩的右手訴說她的生命故事，一切都因13歲那一場車禍，她被吞噬在烈焰中，不只毀容，其他三肢也已切除，但一言一行中卻展現著驚人的樂觀與自信，只希望自己的生命，能夠成為別人的祝福！
意外發生在13歲那年，國二升國三的暑假，那時莊雅菁和友人去兜風，騎車三貼，她坐在最前面，騎車的人右手催著油門，左手還提著酒，就在140的時速下，沒有減速的一個轉彎，摔車了，機油流出，毫無反應時間，整台車瞬間爆炸起火，騎車的朋友和最後面的女生都逃開，只有莊雅菁一個人陷在大火中。
現在的她，是個樂觀、自信也愛自己的大女孩，除了到校園演講，莊雅菁不斷挑戰生命，像是玩音樂、登山，甚至挑戰馬拉松，創下一個又一個驚人的紀錄，莊雅菁說，雖然只剩下一隻手，但失去不等於結束，反而是一個重新開始的機會，發現自己的故事鼓勵更多失意的人，才讓她找回活下去的動力，「原來我真的可以成為別人的祝福。」
